Spearmint, also known locally as Garden mint, and common mint, belongs to the mint species and falls within the Lamiaceae family. It is cultivated across Europe, Asia, North America, and Africa. The leaves of Spearmint (Mentha Spicata) find their use in a variety of culinary applications, including foods, sweets, salads, soups, cheese, meats, fish, sauces, as well as fruits and vegetables. Spearmint's chemical composition includes notable constituents such as carvone (51.7%), cis-carveol (24.3%), limonene (5.3%), 1,3-cineol (4%), carvyl acetate (2.1%), cis-dihydrocarvone (2.2%), and cis-sabinene hydrate (1.0%). Spearmint is utilized for various health benefits, including digestion, hormone balance in women, and potential easing of facial hair. Early studies have shown that spearmint may affect androgen levels in women, increase in luteinizing hormone, follicle-stimulating hormone and estradiol. 

Diindoylymethane (DIM) constitutes a component within Indole-3-carbinol (I3C), which is naturally occurring in vegetables of the Brassica family, including well-known members like broccoli, kale, and cauliflower. DIM exerts significant influence on estrogen metabolism, aiding in maintaining a relatively balanced state within the body.

Saw Palmetto is a dietary supplement extracted from the fruit of the Serenoa repens plant. The compounds present in saw palmetto possess the capability to inhibit an enzyme responsible for converting testosterone into dihydrotestosterone (DHT), with DHT being a more potent androgen. A combination of zinc and saw palmetto has seen strong effects on hormonal balances.
