Dr. Arun Kumar Jaiswal's research journey began with a strong foundation in genetics, which later expanded to various interdisciplinary fields. His research interests include nutritional and environmental manipulations, rodent behavior, behavioral pharmacology, neuropharmacology, and Indian medicinal plants.

He is currently also investigating functional and dysfunctional metacognitions and meta-emotions. In fact, he's developing a meta-emotion questionnaire to further explore this area.

Teaching and Positions

Dr. Jaiswal has been associated with Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith since 2010.

  • Professor (Full): Working in the area of adaptive and maladaptive metacognitions and meta-emotions. Currently developing a meta-emotion questionnaire.
  • Teaching: Biopsychology and Psychopathology to undergraduate and postgraduate students
