Content: The probiotic I never knew I needed! In 46 years, and after working in many health food stores, I'm shocked that there is a brand new probiotic that I have never heard of: Akkermansia Munciniphila. I usually may not be inclined to try something so radically different and new, and also wonder if it’s worth it to spend on a single strain probiotic. Well I never would have guessed it, but this probiotic is now part of the arsenal that is helping my health do a 180. I am so grateful! I literally tried every probiotic using my discount in the health food store over the years, and this one as well as only one other probiotic (soil based) are the only two that I feel the difference with. I've even tried refrigerated probiotics, and probiotics in fermented organic foods. I would say that it gives me a nice boost when I take it, with an overall cumulative effect. I have now been taking this nightly, and no other probiotic for the last two weeks. Definitely recommend!

Content: Right off the batn let me just say, It's really hard to review a supplement. Most them actually have disclaimer on them that says that their benefits haven't been independently verified. By design, they are intended to work over time, and their effectiveness can't be judged right away. Look at Vitamin C. There's been a debate on it's effectiveness and dosage forever. Some people swear by it, others don't. It's proven to help some, but just how much is debatable, and Vitamin C is probably is one of the most tested supplements ever.
So that being said, this looks like a quality product and seems to work as advertised. It's a good price and hasn't caused any adverse effects. It's definitely worth a try.

Content: So this is a newer probiotic that has been receiving positive results in testing if you look it up. I already take one of the other multi-strain probiotics on a regular schedule so cannot attest to someone's results if they do not take anything - personally I had no adverse effects that I could notice but also nothing of note on the other end of the spectrum either.
I would say that with all the crud they put in our food these days - people need to pay attention to their gut health and taking probiotics in general is a wise choice.

Lower than some options, but price reflects it. I dont mind the addition of vitamin D3 (a hormone), and chromium picolinate. The latter helps with cravings and is very cheap. Content: Following a very long stretch of stomach/intestinal problems/treatment, I've been learning about probiotics - yes, late to the game - and just recently ran across literature about this very interesting recent-ish addition to the probiotic arena.
There's a ton of scholarly info out there about Akkermansia Munciniphila, so I won't regurgitate it here, but this is not yet a probiotic included in supplements with a range of ingredients. I was therefore pretty happy to find this targeted supplement to combine with my existing regimen.
The daily dosage here (2B) is well below what is generally considered the 'safe' range (10B) for human consumption, so I feel really good about starting with this product to see how things go. You get a 2-month supply for only $15 as of this review, which seems like an excellent value.
I was very pleased to see this product is made in the U.S., in a GMP-certified facility. The company even posting independent lab testing results on the product page. All of these factors make me comfortable with the safety and integrity of the product. Recommended.
